A light dinner is recommended the first night. It is normal to feel tired and numb. An elastic bandage helps compress and protect the ears in the first few days after surgery. The patient must carefully follow postoperative medical and behavioral instructions. Normal activities can be resumed after approximately three days. Scarring is minimal and hidden in the retroauricular crease.
