Maurizio Amato
Dr. Maurizio Amato was born in Naples in the 1980s, on Christmas Eve to be precise, and cultivated his passion for medicine from a young age, growing up in a family of doctors. His grandparents were anesthesiologists and pediatricians, and his father is a renowned vascular and general surgeon.
He is known for his original and advanced approach to nose, breast, and facial rejuvenation surgery, using his most innovative techniques published in prestigious journals. He also specializes in revision or secondary surgery, which has become increasingly popular in recent years and represents a daily challenge for even the most skilled surgeons.
Dr. Maurizio Amato is the author and co-author of numerous articles and scientific papers published in prestigious national and international journals. Passionate about modern and contemporary art, he considers art an integral part of his life and a source of great inspiration in his work; this passion has led him to become one of the most important collectors in the field. A great sports enthusiast, in his spare time he practices professional skiing, tennis, and paddle tennis.
He practices in Naples, one of the most beautiful cities in the world, where he sees patients at his practice in one of the city's most exclusive neighborhoods and operates at the city's most prestigious private clinics.

Graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Naples "Federico II." From 2014 to 2019, after passing the entrance exam for the School of Specialization in General Surgery, he worked in major national and international healthcare facilities specializing in plastic and aesthetic surgery.
During his specialization course, he performed, as first operator, a very significant number of general, plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery procedures.
Participation in internships at leading European centers in the fields of head and neck, breast, and body surgery have allowed him to develop an international know-how on the most advanced surgical techniques.
In December 2019 he decided to leave the hospital profession to dedicate himself full time to his freelance work.
In 2023, Dr. Maurizio Amato founded the Amato Medical Institute (AMI). The clinic was born from his passion for surgery, art, architecture, and design. AMI is a first-class, multi-specialty surgical clinic, carefully designed down to the smallest detail. Located in the Chiaia district, at Via Fiorelli 12, it utilizes the most modern and innovative medical technologies to offer its patients the highest quality services.
