Dermatological surgery can remove moles, cysts, lipomas, fibromas, papillomas, warts, seborrheic and actinic keratoses, melanomas, and epitheliomas from the skin. These surgeries are performed on an outpatient basis using only local anesthesia, without requiring an overnight stay.

For some skin lesions, removal is planned using a scalpel, for other specific lesions using methods such as diathermocoagulation, removal by shaving, curettage or cryotherapy.

Malignant and precancerous lesions require surgical excision, while benign lesions are often removed for purely cosmetic reasons. Given that a definitive diagnosis can only be achieved through histological examination, all suspicious growths must undergo this examination.

After a thigh lift, it is normal for the treated area to be sore and for bruising and swelling to occur, including on all of the legs and in the genital area.

In the days immediately following surgery, thorough personal hygiene is important to avoid the risk of infecting the wounds.

Work, if it does not require excessive physical effort, can resume after the stitches are removed, which usually occurs between the seventh and fifteenth day.

For a month after surgery it is important to avoid intense physical effort and activity, abstain from sexual activity and exposure to the sun, tanning lamps and intense heat sources.
