Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Photorejuvenation is a non-ablative resurfacing technique that acts deep within the dermis without altering the superficial layers of the skin or the client's features. The treatment phases are as follows:
- A cold gel is applied to the area to be treated and the client is made to wear protective glasses;
- The pulsed light is emitted by a continuously cooling handpiece equipped with cut-off filters that modify the wavelength, adapting it to different skin types and various applications;
- The emitted light penetrates the tissue where it is absorbed by the chromophores (of the blood and melanin) damaging them;
